Adapting the national employment strategy to regional realities​​
How can employment policies be aligned with the economic and social specificities of each region?​

Our firm ensures the technical leadership of developing Regional Employment Plans in five pilot governorates: Tunis, Manouba, Sfax, Sousse, and Kairouan, in collaboration with the Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment.


Objective: territorialized implementation of the National Employment Strategy​

This project aims to translate the National Employment Strategy 2019 into concrete action plans adapted to local dynamics, in order to:​​

  • Enhance each region’s assets
  • Identify employment barriers
  • Create sustainable economic development opportunities​


A participatory approach

The organized workshops enabled:

  • Detailed analyses of employment dynamics by region​
  • Identification of sectoral opportunities and specific needs​​​
  • Involvement of over 100 regional representatives from key ministries: Employment, Economy, Social Affairs, Tourism, Agriculture, etc.​

  • This initiative is supported by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and funded by KOICA TUNISIA OFFICE within the framework of the IPTIC program – Impact of policies and job creation in ICT in Tunisia.
