Creating sustainable integration opportunities for young people is a central challenge for the African continent’s development.​
Matine Consulting متين, represented by Bayrem BEN OTHMAN, participated in the work of the Youth Employment Action Lab in Africa, organized by the ILO International Training Centre (ITCILO), within the framework of the YES – Youth Employment Strategy for Africa initiative, led by the ILO and African Union.

A pan-African strategic exchange
This event brought together delegations from across Africa to:​

  • Identify main barriers to youth employment: training/employment adequacy, labor market access, public policy implementation​
  • Share national best practices​​​
  • Co-construct concrete and sustainable solutions, focused on decent work, inclusion, and innovation​​

  • Promote alignment of public policies with field realities​
  • Contribute to a shared vision among African countries​​
